Sky Pub Sports Measurement


Sky Pub Sports is measured by IpsosMORI who are the largest independently-owned market research company in Great Britain and IPA approved.

In order to effectively capture out-of-home viewing to all sporting events, in particular football, IpsosMORI recruits and manages an out-of-home viewing panel of over 7,000 adults.  A minimum sample of over 500 adults and 200 1834 Men report on a weekly basis with results available the following week.

The Sky out-of-home viewing panel is the largest out-of-home viewing panel measuring viewing to Sky Sports in the UK. It provides: 

  • Measurement of up to 15 different sporting events each week
  • Estimation of the total reach across a specific number of games, including the percentage that
    are unique to Sky Pub Sports
  • Additional ad-hoc questions on brand/advertising awareness, brand image and
    campaign effectiveness
  • Monthly discussion topics.
