Q: When and where will Sky AdSmart be available?
Sky AdSmart will be available to a group of launch partners from August 2013, and made available to all advertisers from January 2014.
It will be available at this stage on Sky’s wholly-owned channels: Sky 1, Sky Sports, Sky Atlantic, Sky Movies, Sky Arts, Sky Living, Challenge, Pick TV
Q: How will Sky AdSmart be traded?
A: Sky AdSmart will be traded on a cost per impression (CPI) basis.
Q: What is the currency?
A: Impressions are defined as when 75% of an advertisement has been viewed by the household.
Q: Will Sky Media be able to schedule Sky AdSmart advertisements?
No - the algorithms in each box dictate what is played out. Priority is based on a number of factors e.g. time left in campaign.
Q: What length of copy can be used?
All copy will need to be between 10 and 120 seconds, in 10 second increments. If the aim is to play out Sky AdSmart variants over your linear campaign the copy variants need to be the same length.
Q: If you have a linear campaign and a Sky AdSmart campaign, do they have to run at the same time or can they all have variable dates?
Sky AdSmart can have independent start and end dates.
