Sky Text
Sky Text is the digital text service from Sky, and with an impressive 10.6 million viewing sessions a month, it's clearly very popular with our customers. Sky Text is free to all subscribers and is simply accessed by pressing ‘text' on the remote. Available 24 hours a day behind all Sky-branded channels, it can also be accessed by pressing ‘red' on the majority of channels.
The Sky Text service provides up-to-the-minute coverage on news and sports as well as great holiday deals, the latest weather forecasts, lottery results and entertainment. Almost 1.7 million viewers rely on Sky Text each month to bring them the news and sports stories as they happen; in fact over 450,000 subscribers check out our Sports pages every week.
Our advertisers tell us that Sky Text is a medium that delivers and in many campaigns, 1 in 5 telephone enquiries have converted into sales.
Cost
Sky Text offers great value for money, and with breadth of content and a loyal audience, it's easy to find the customers you're looking for. Sky Text can either offer advertisers strategic campaigns or a continuous weekly presence with banner adverts featured around all of our most popular pages.
Smaller, bespoke and more targeted packages can be offered on request. For example, a 4-week package on the Weather Forecasts for World Cities page would be around £500.

Paddy Power are one of the UK's largest bookmakers. They were already using Sky's analogue services to promote their latest prices but felt they needed to appeal to a wider audience and encourage new clients to open accounts.
Sky's digital text service, with its focus on news and sport, was the ideal delivery vehicle. Working together, the ‘Videprinter' application was developed which allows Paddy Power to offer inrunning betting opportunities on any sporting event showing live on Sky Sports.
