The Emmy® Award-winning The Late Late Show with James Corden is coming to the UK. In his first international adventure with the hit CBS programme, James is heading to London this June to film three special episodes which will be broadcast exclusively on Sky 1 and NOW TV in the UK. This is the first time brands will have the opportunity to advertise in the live show, in the UK, and reach James Corden’s fan base, on this side of the pond!
The three episodes, produced by CBS Productions and Fulwell 73, in association with Sky, will air in the US on the CBS Television Network and will have a distinctly UK feel as Corden shares highlights from his homeland. Filmed at Westminster’s Central Hall, London, the show’s signature musical and comedy segments will also be given a British twist.
Sky 1 will broadcast the home-grown episodes from 7-9 June at 10pm and they will also be available on NOW TV.
Speaking about his forthcoming trip, Corden said: “To bring The Late Late Show to the UK is a dream come true for me. I’m incredibly proud of the show and we’re going to do our best to make this week in London memorable.”
Adam MacDonald, Director of Sky 1, added: “I’m beyond excited that James and The Late Late Show are coming to the UK for three very special episodes. James is hugely loved by the Sky 1 audience and it will be a proud moment for the channel to share what he and The Late Late Show gang have in store for us.”
James has been a firm favourite on Sky 1 and NOW TV for a number of years, presenting the hit Sky 1 comedy sports quiz A League of Their Own since 2010.
The Late Late Show with James Corden is currently available daily via Sky’s on demand service and NOW TV. It features a mix of celebrity guests, musical acts, games and sketches. Known for its Carpool Karaoke segment, the show holds the YouTube record for the most watched late-night clip, Adele Carpool Karaoke, which has more than 153 million views. The show’s YouTube channel has amassed more than 2.5 billion total views and 10 million subscribers since the show’s premiere. Ben Winston and Rob Crabbe are the executive producers.
