The recently-launched Sky AdVance has won a number of awards at the Connected TV World Summit 2016 which took place at Kings Place, London this week.
Judges from the media, advertising and tech industries acknowledged Sky AdVance’s breakthrough innovation – directly linking TV and online advertising – in the ceremony on Wednesday 16th March. Sky AdVance won the Data-Driven TV Award, the Ad Tech Hero Award, and the most prestigious award of the evening: Outstanding Achievement in TV 2016.
Sky Media also picked up an Ad Tech Hero Commendation for Sky AdSmart, and a Special Citation for Beating the Ad Blockers which recognised Sky AdSmart’s positive effects on ad break viewing.
Sky Media’s sweep was described as “one of the most impressive hauls ever achieved by one company” by award organisers Videonet.
