Sky Media has confirmed bathroom retailer Victorian Plumbing is to sponsor Comedy Central and Comedy Extra’s iconic sitcom Friends.
The three-month on-air sponsorship deal was brokered by Sky Media as the Friends audience overlaps with Victorian Plumbing’s own target demographic – young homeowners and first-time buyers.
Joe Pascoe, Senior Marketing Manager at Victorian Plumbing said: “The team at Victorian Plumbing are delighted to be sponsoring Friends on Comedy Central. We’ve identified young homeowners and first-time buyers as a strong growth demographic for us in the near future, and the Friends audience overlaps that demographic extremely well. Friends has a special place in many people’s hearts, so we had to work hard, and very quickly with Blac Ionica to give a nod to some iconic Friends moments.
