Blind Date is back with the fabulous Paul O’Grady for a dazzling third series on Channel 5!


The Show

Like the original format, Blind Date sees one singleton asking three hidden candidates a selection of questions about themselves in order to pick one lucky date. The revamped series has already had great success…

  • Series 2 on C5 reached over 10 million adults
  • The six premiere episodes averaged 1.5 million, with a high of 2.25 million
  • The highly anticipated launch episode was the 4th most watched programme of the day across all TV for young adults and young women, and number 1 in its time slot for all individuals
  • The show had a strong female skew, reaching valuable audiences including 19% women 16-34s and 20% of ABC1 women
  • While on air, Channel 5 was the 3rd most popular channel for young females.

The Blind Date format has also been refreshed to be more inclusive with LGBT couples and has also featured couples with their dogs!
