Five awesome music festivals, one unforgettable Summer! 2019 brings you On The Road with MTV, the ultimate road trip across the UK following the coolest up and coming summer music festival with an incredible line up of live music performances.

MTV can build a fully integrated campaign to meet a client’s objectives. On The Road with MTV can be tailored across event partnership on the ground and media platforms. A full 360º multi-platform opportunity will span across MTV’s TV channels, digital, social platforms and VOD.

 

On The Road with MTV

The Festival Scene has never been bigger. So in 2019, MTV will be spending the summer showcasing MTV’s favourite festivals.

Taking brands into the heart of the UK Festival scene – creating content and partnering with music events. We have chosen five smaller, cooler, up and coming festivals give better access to bespoke fanbases across the UK. The festivals span five cities; from Liverpool to London.

Launching in May, the partnership will be across events throughout the Summer until September for longevity enabling us to create great, fresh relevant content across the campaign. The On The Road content will include highlights and artists interviews.

2019 Event Details
  • 25-26th May – South Central, Portsmouth – 30,000 people capacity, per day.
  • 1st June – Inside Out, Bute Park, Cardiff – 15,000 people capacity.
  • 15th June – Strawberries and Creem, Cambridge
  • 27th July – Made, Perry Park, Birmingham – 15,000 people capacity
  • 31st August – 1st September – Fusion, Otterspool Prominade, Liverpool – 50,000 people capacity, per day.

  • MTV viewers are energetic and sociable festival goers who are extremely active across social media. They regularly interact with a range of sites, share information, find out about things to do and enter competitions – making social a key platform for this audience
  • When asked what activities they like to do in Summer, 58% of MTV viewers said they like to attend music festivals in comparison to 21% of non-viewers
  • The MTV brand has a strong influence on viewers opinions – 47% agree they think more positively about brands when they are promoted on the MTV channel and 56% feel that MTV are more likely to promote the brands they like
