Sky Media are proud to present an exclusive opportunity to sponsor Soccer AM in 2018/19, the Saturday morning staple that kicks off Sky Sports’ acclaimed weekend football coverage. Returning for its 24th season, and presented once more by Fenners, fan favourite Jimmy Bullard and comedian Lloyd Griffith, Sky viewers can look forward to the team’s unique take on the world of football every weekend throughout the season. With high reach and frequency amongst young men, this is a great opportunity for a brand to align with an established football brand across Sky Sports’ broadcast, digital and social media platforms.

The Content

Having been a mainstay in the football calendar since the shows inception in 1995, Soccer AM, with its unique mix of live studio action, content features and footballing action, is the go to destination for football fans to kick start the weekend!

Broadcasting live from the fully interactive Soccer AM studio each Saturday morning, viewers can expect to see some stellar names from the world of sports, music and entertainment on the famous Soccer AM sofa. In addition to top class guests such as Noel Gallagher, Anthony Joshua and Thierry Henry, viewers can catch their favourite features every week. ‘You Know The Drill’ sees Jimmy Bullard put through his paces at football clubs across the UK and Europe , with Jimmy’s charismatic personality making trips to FC Barcelona, Aston Villa and Salford City must watch pieces of content.

Other popular features include ‘Tube Meets’ and ‘Teammates 2.0’, where players such as Raheem Sterling and Dele Alli are asked the questions that every football fan wans to hear; from changing room joker to worst dressed player. Finally, the cauldron that is the John Arne Riise stadium will play host to some of the best and worst volley attempts from fans up and down the country, as they battle it out to be crowned Top Bin Champions.

  • 15” VOD pre-roll for each Soccer AM programme pushed to Sky Go on Demand, estimated to deliver 25,000 impressions

Generating in excess of 461m video views in the last 12 months, Soccer AM’s social platforms reach a highly engaged male skewing 16-34 audience. Over the course of the sponsorship, the sponsor will receive:

  • Co-branded sponsor/Soccer AM watermark integrated into all clips derived from the show (100% exposure).
  • @Sponsor tagging on all clips derived from the show.
  • Sponsor integration into social posts used to promote the show, sign posting Sky Sports social audience to help drive awareness of scheduling and content.
  • 2 x Soccer AM branded content strands, with the option to integrate sponsor into popular existing strands (Sunday League Messi, Stat Football), or through the creation of bespoke strands.
  • Category exclusivity across Soccer AM social channels.
