Four years ago, the Channel 5 team set out a new strategy to diversify the channel’s content and establish a new place in the market as a channel by the people, for the people… celebrating the everyday extraordinary. And that strategy has paid off, with the channel picking up numerous awards and producing top-rating shows. Last year, Channel 5 grew its share of individuals viewing and ABC1 viewers more than any other terrestrial channel.
