Hearst Networks to rebrand Sky HISTORY as MYSTERY X
Sky HISTORY2 will become MysteryX from 29 September 2026, creating a dedicated linear home for premium factual programming centred on mystery, the unexplained and the paranormal.
From thrilling investigations and conspiracy theories to ancient civilisations and puzzling phenomena, MysteryX will explore the stories, questions and mysteries that continue to fascinate audiences.
The rebrand adds a genre-specific brand to the Hearst Networks portfolio, building on the MysteryX streaming service available on Prime Video and bringing together a compelling range of mystery programming across linear and streaming.
Mystery is already a strong-performing genre across Hearst Networks’ portfolio, with audiences drawn to stories that explore the unexplained, the extraordinary and the unknown. By evolving Sky HISTORY 2 into MysteryX, Hearst Networks is bringing together a rich mix of existing and new programming under one recognisable brand, creating a dedicated home for mystery fans across linear and streaming.
Key programming on MysteryX will include season eight of Paranormal: Caught on Camera, airing as a double bill every Friday at 9pm from 9 October. The channel will also mark Halloween with a dedicated weekend featuring My Paranormal Nightmare, Paranormal: Caught on Camera and Haunted Hospitals.
